Dreamy Accessories From the 2015 SS FW You’ll Love!

From New York to London and Milan, we’ve seen beautiful clothes from our favorite designers for the next time the spring and Summer fashion season comes upon us, which of course will be in 2015. I’ve shown you only a few of the awesome clothes but we all know(me especially) that clothes will not be best appreciated without the accessories that are styled with them. Bags, shoes, Jewelry and even make up all put the looks together in the designers’ unique ways and we can’t afford to miss their efforts can we? From clutches to barrel bags and hobos to minaudieres, we have been wowed.

What’s your style personality? classic and chic? boho or lady? seek and you will find the accessory to fit your desires… also notice the bushy eyebrow trend still very present and the turbans from the Missoni runway.  There are strappy sandals at every turn and I love the embellished flats and bejeweled T straps by Dolce & Gabbana. the Burberry sneakers are a beauty along with their Bee Bags which are already on the arms on celebrities and models like Cara Delevingne. I’m sure it wasn’t lost on the designers too as they went all out to offer for the buying of course, accessories we can be sure to see hitting the stores soon…

Awesome pieces! Anya Hindmarch, known for her statement bags was inspired this time by the stickers and pencil cases we lived for in school. Her usual tarsals were on hand and bags in block colors. I love ’em! these are definitely going in my A list! What do you think?

Hugs :))

Tye Dye Fashion: Would You Wear This Trend?

Hello my beautiful stylish readers, its been an eventful week both personally and work wise! I did an interview for a TV program which was short but quite fun! It is yet to be aired and I’ll tell you more about this in a few days but today, I have a fashion trend that I have made my trend for the week. The Tye Dye print! Surprising right?Isn’t fashion just a cycle?!

The Tye Dye is a process that consists of folding, twisting, pleating and crumpling fabrics or garments and then binding them with strings or  rubber bands followed by the application of dye. The use of these strings prevent the dye from coloring specific areas of the fabric. The dyes are characterized by the use of bright primary colors and bold patterns.Simple motifs, monochromatic color schemes and the use of other fabrics than cotton are what makes this look newer than the earliest Tye dye trends.

A little history: Tye dye prints can originally be traced to America- Peru,Japan and India in Asia, Kano,Nigeria in Africa which inspired the hippie look in the USA  in the 1960s.

So anyway, we now have Tye dye in more modern patterns and now its about minimalism folks! Take a look at these silhouettes from the Resort 2014 looks, runways as well as a few street styles as captured by famous street style photographer, Tommy Ton and tell me, would you wear this trend? do you think it’s hot or hmm… still thinking?

I like the bleached effect in the Burberry look as well as the flirty skirts and maxi dresses! The pullover is lovely and Miranda Kerr’s tee-shirt looks so stylish. For the skirts , you can style with a simple blouse/ shirt or mix and match different patterns like the fit and flare skirt with the blouse in a similar blend of colors. Shop this trend below:
